Kofi & Miranda Sunu – Founders of Young Ambassadors for Christ

Young Ambassadors for Christ was founded by Kofi and Miranda Sunu, devoted Christians with a shared passion for raising the next generation of believers. Their vision is to inspire children to live out their faith boldly by sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ in ways that are meaningful and relevant to both their peers and the wider community.

Kofi and Miranda have faithfully served in their local church for many years, contributing to various ministries including prayer, outreach, discipleship, and pastoral care. Kofi is part of the church leadership and oversees its pastoral ministry. He also served as the first president of Joyful Way Incorporated, a gospel music evangelism group established in Ghana in the early 1970s, known for spreading the message of Christ through music.

Miranda, a retired public servant, has been actively involved in prayer, evangelism, pastoral, and hospitality ministries. She is also a children’s book author, having published Fred the Dancing Frog and Anna’s Journey to Forgiveness.

Together, Kofi and Miranda founded Young Ambassadors for Christ in Accra, Ghana, with the mission of nurturing children to be deeply rooted in Christ. Their goal is to raise young leaders who will shine as lights in the world and positively influence their generation and those to come.

The organization’s motto is drawn from Proverbs 22:6:
“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

At the heart of their work is a deep passion to see children come to know Christ, grow in their faith, and become beacons of hope who impact their world with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
